The Mission of the Indigenous Internet Powwow Hall of Fame is to pay tribute to our Singers and Dancers who have provided us with the Sound and Sight of our Sacred Circle.

Macy Powwow

The Indigenous Internet Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame was established in 2005 to officially recognize our prominent Indigenous Traditional Performers of cultural song and musical arts.

The style of many Indigenous Nations song and dance, are restricted to regional areas, such as the Southwest, the Great Lakes, Northern Plaines and so on.  Our endeavor is to extend those regions to Peru, Costa Rica, and Hawaii.

Featured each issue, we will celebrate the induction of a different style, or different region into the Hall of Fame. Each inductee will have achieved notoriety thru recording, distinguished style or prolific performance, who has received wide recognition and fame based on their musical achievements.

drum group hall of fame

We honor Powwow Drum Groups because they are the caretakers of the sacred drum and represent the heartbeat of Mother Earth, and provide the rhythm for the dancers to express the beauty and grace of our Indigenous Peoples.

dancer hall of fame

We honor Powwow Dancers because they wear the colors and traditional regalia of their respective Indigenous Tribe or Nation, and they represent the beautiful, graceful, and enduring spirit of our Indigenous Peoples.
