About the Songs
Whether we are singing old traditional songs passed down in our community, or singing the new ones composed by our singers, there always seem to be reasons to remember people, teachings, or events that are connected in our minds with these songs.
Sometimes we talk about those memories, but sometimes it is just part of our collective memories. It is an important part of these songs and why they are given to the people during the dance. We hope that this recording helps you to remember people and teachings in your lives that make a difference.
