About Crofut Family Winery

Crofut Family Winery

Locally grown grapes are hand-harvested, carefully fermented, and bottled to capture the concentrated Minnesota sunshine.

Fall Sale: We'll be closing for the season soon, so come in now and stock up on wine for the long winter ahead. It's a great time and the right place to do your holiday gift shopping.

Check out Dale the Gardener's weekly blog on AM1500 as well as his video report on Fox9 news.

Thanks for the kind words, Dale. And thanks to our 2009 Grape Harvest helpers!

WineGeekTV Visits the Vineyard
Jeff and Jeff from
winegeektv.com visited the Crofut Family Winery during the Grapestomp last month. What did Jeff think of our wines?

"I can honestly say these far surpassed my expectations. How? They are balanced as almost any wine from anywhere in the world...." Read more of Jeff's review at winegeektv.com!

Virtual Vineyard Tour

Crofut Family Winery

Our virtual tour includes three 360-degree panoramic shots of the vineyard. Click here to get started.

The virtual tour is divided into three parts:

  1. Processing Grapes
The Crofut Family Winery & Vineyard is a 63-acre farm and vineyard. The are 6.5 acres of commercial vines planted in 2003-2004, including the University of Minnesota varieties: Frontenanc, Frontenac Gris, and LaCrescent.

  2. Touring the Vineyard
Tours include a tour of the vineyards, winemaking facility, cask room and bottling area with an expert guide. The tour concludes with a wine tasting for guests age 21 and above. Call us at 952-492-3227 to schedule your tour!

  3. Experimental Grapes Vineyard
The test vineyard, located at the entrance to the property, is assessing experimental grape vine varieties for hardiness, disease resistance and of course, taste!
