Emma Geyer, member of the Rainy River Frist Nations, Manitou Rapids, Ontario Canada, will be honored as our Entrepreneur of the Month for the month of June 2006.
Emma grew up in Manitou Rapids, Ontario, attending a boarding school in Fort Francis. She learned how to bead from her mother at an early age. Those skills came in handy while growing up with all her brothers and sisters, sewing their socks and clothes as well as her own, and after years of doing this became very good at it. She enjoys making things like earrings and barrettes, moccasins and dance outfits.
